What is Jazz Band?

Carroll High School is proud to have three very talented Jazz Bands.

Jazz Band 1 is our premiere jazz band for which students must try-out in order to take the class offered during the school day. Students will study, listen to, and rehearse the various styles of jazz as well as the techniques of improvisation.
The jazz band will perform in various required concerts and contests
throughout the year.

Jazz Bands 2 and 3 meet after school and offer those interested in learning more about jazz music the opportunity to improve their skills. Jazz Band 2 and 3 students also perform at various concerts and contests throughout the year.
